Sports
Students of RNSIS have a wide range of sport activities that they can play during the physical education hour.
Outdoor sports like athletics, cricket, throw ball, basketball, football, kabaddi, volleyball, badminton and indoor sports like chess, table tennis and carrom are played regularly by all students.Since physical and health education is an integral part of the assessment process as outlined by CBSE, school has taken various steps to make it interesting and enjoyable to students.
House System
The students of the school are placed in 4 houses – Srishti, Spoorthi, Shakthi and Siddhi. Every student from Std I to Std X is a member of one of these houses. Each house is under the charge of a house teacher, a captain and vice-captain along with prefects. Inter house competitions are held regularly. Points are awarded to each house commensurate with the performance of the participants as adjudged by a jury around the year. At the end of the year the house scoring the highest number of points is awarded with rolling shields for Discipline, Culture, Sports and Turnout.
Play Area
At RNS International School, we ensure that children belonging to Play Group enjoy their exclusive Play Area where we have slides, swings, mini travellers, colourful see-saws, mini basketball game. The ground is cushioned with soft mud and grass which keep the children from getting bruised or hurt during their play time.
