Environment Day - “Beat Plastic Pollution”
Every year on 5th June, World Environment Day is observed globally. The day helps to raise awareness about the environment and the damage that human activities do to it. Therefore, it is important for every individual to save and protect our environment.
Environment day was celebrated on Monday, June 5th 2023. Various activities were conducted for children to create awareness in them.
Activities included: Making of paper bag – ‘Say no to plastic’.
Sowing Methi seeds – ‘Go green’
Walkathon by High School students carrying the slogans depicting – “Say no to Plastic”.
Going a step further, students of Scouts and Guides of RNS International school were the part of Sapling Planting Program organized by Bharat Scouts and Guides, Bengaluru South District Institute of Vijayanagar at Sulivara, near the Big Banyan tree.
