Yoga & Meditation
“Housing a healthy mind in a healthy body is also vital.”
Yoga helps to achieve this objective through physical, mental and spiritual exercises. At RNS International School we ensure that Yoga and Meditation play an integral part of the curriculum. Students are initiated to acquire a sound mind in a sound body through yoga and meditation.
Karate
Karate aims to build character, improve human behaviour and cultivate modesty;

Karate is a method to develop both your body and spirit, while gaining tools and skills enabling you to defend yourself, without having to use any weapons. It is a method of self-defence. At RNS International School both boys and girls are introduced and trained in Karate by professionals. They have participated in inter school tournaments and have brought laurels to the school.
Transport Facility
RNS International School has a transport facility which comprises of a fleet of well-maintained buses, equipped with Global Positioning System [GPS] real time tracking and CCTV cameras as per government guidelines. The buses have been fitted with speed governors too. Each bus trip has a responsible school attendant on board to ensure safety of children. The bus staff have been sensitised to the school’s stance on student safety.
Student Council
At RNS International School the members of the student council are selected based on a set of criteria and elected in a democratic manner. It consists of School Captain and vice-captain, Sports captain and Sports vice-captain, House captains and vice-captains along with prefects.
A student council helps share ideas, interests, and concerns with teachers and school principal. It gives a chance to the students to display their leadership skills and team work, to take responsibility at an early age and represent the ideas of the students of the school. Moreover, they help in maintaining the proper discipline and decorum of the school. The mind of the students gets prepared for all circumstances and they learn to work as a team which helps build confidence in them.
Editorial Board
The school provides a platform for students, teachers and parents to voice their ideas, opinions and suggestions through its annual magazine, ‘Imprints’ which gives an insight into the events and activities of the entire academic year. The Annual Magazine is sought after by the parents and students alike.
RNS International School has an Editorial Board which takes care of the magazine work. It consists of students who are proficient in language and other skills and teachers who guide them.
Wellness Room
The School Infirmary is looked after by a qualified nurse. A record of students visiting this room is maintained. First aid is administered for students with minor injury. If in case the child needs special medical attention, the parents are informed of the same.
Parents are also advised to keep the school infirmary informed of any medical / health problem which may have developed during the academic year.
The medical history of the student must be filled up by the parents in the space provided in the school diary.
Counselling
Behavioural Counselling: Guidance and counselling plays an important role in the life of a student and his/ her future success. It helps students to learn all that are to be learnt both in and outside the School.
A qualified counsellor at RNS International School helps to build confidence in the students and help the in their future success.
Career Counselling: A Successful Career Starts with the selection of the right subject and stream. Career guidance and student counselling is an extremely important area where an expert in his field who has all the skills, abilities, knowledge and information regarding the job openings,
prospects, opportunities and possesses the ability to effectively communicate with the students speak to them about the same.
At RNS International School we seek the guidance of experts so that students are able to get the necessary exposure in various fields which in turn would help them in the selection of their course.
