The pre-primary years are crucial for the development of sensorial and muscular skills in the child. A bright, warm and colourful ambience is provided for the tiny tots at RNS International School.
We understand the importance of play-way and activity-based approach to learning at this level. Early childhood education aims to satisfy the quest of inquisitive young minds by channelizing their potential and to foster holistic development of children. We ensure that every child experience a joyous environment which helps in a smooth transition from an informal to formal learning environment with confidence and optimism. Here children develop social skills through interactions with other children belonging to the same age group which also helps them come out of their comfort zones.
We like to use opportunities throughout the day to promote the children’s self-awareness, develop independence, communicate preferences, show a willingness to tackle problems on social and emotional skills.
Moral stories are introduced to children as moral development is an essential process that should start from early childhood. Knowing good moral values such as kindness, humility, courage, and compassion at an early age builds a child’s character. It forms the very core of their being and becomes a foundation of their moral beliefs. Through hearing stories, children are exposed to a wide range of words which help them build their own vocabulary and improve their understanding when they listen, which is vital as they start to read.
